Short trip to Bournemouth | Commercial Photography

I have been doing a bit of commercial photography recently which has taken me up and down the country and even across the water. I recently had a trip to Bournemouth and despite the awful weather I just had to have a walk to the beach, what a lovely beach it is even if it did start to rain when I was walking back up the beach.

Beautiful Boudoir | Boudoir Photography Cambridge

A couple of months ago I tried a different location for my Boudoir sessions, and rather than doing them within the clients home I did a few sessions in a lovely suite at the Hotel du Vin in Cambridge to add something different to my images.

Boudoir sessions can still be shot within the clients home but if you were thinking of doing a Boudoir session with me then there is also the option of doing a session within a beautiful hotel suite. Why not make it a whole experience and together with the photography session, the hair and make up you could also book a lovely suite for yourself and have a fabulous stay as well. Get in touch and we can discuss your options.

Don’t forget your beautiful lingerie, shoes and jewellery as well; and maybe there are items that have sentimental to value to you that can be used within the images such, as a piece of jewellery maybe your wedding or engagement ring.

David and Gemma’s Saddleworth Hotel Winter Wedding | Lancashire Wedding Photographer

The 11th February saw my first wedding of 2012 in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.

David and Gemma choose the lavish Saddleworth Hotel in Delph for their reception which provided a lovely backdrop for the photography on the day.

The snow had arrived a few days before the wedding but held off on the day; but a cover still remained on the ground which meant walking had to be taken with care. There were a few faint flakes whilst we were at the church but luckily that was all as it would have made travelling around that bit more fun!

I started the day at Gemma’s parents home where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready. I then had to hot foot it over to the church to capture the groom with his best man and ushers; and the guests arriving for the ceremony. Following the ceremony we then travelled to the Saddleworth Hotel to take some photos of the bride and groom in the snow before we could go inside and defrost.

Following the wedding breakfast and once the evening reception guests had arrived, David and Gemma took to the dance floor for their first dance where they had secretly prepared a dance routine together.
